How GPS tracking works?

The Kipy Watch Plus features built-in GPS, enabling real-time location tracking through the parental app. When you open the map, you’ll see your kid’s exact location along with a history of their recent movements. While positioning is typically precise, it’s accuracy may still vary depending on local GPS signal conditions.

What’s the recommended age for this watch?

Our smartwatches are designed for kids aged 3 to 12.

How to create an account in the app?

On the home screen, select the “Register” button to proceed to the registration. Enter your email address and security code (if the code isn’t fully visible, tap the arrow to the left of the code to generate a new one), then create a password that’s easy for you to remember. Make sure the selected language is set to English, choose “Confirm Registration” — and that’s it! Registration complete. You can now log in using your username and password.

How to send messages from the app?

On the app’s home screen, find the “Chat” icon to access the messaging interface. You can then choose between private and family chat to send voice or text messages. Switch between these modes by tapping the corresponding button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Note that your kid can only send voice messages from their watch (there’s no text option). This feature targets those who are just learning to read.

How to activate the SOS feature?

You can add up to 3 emergency numbers via the app menu. Once your number is saved, the watch will automatically call you when the SOS button is pressed. You’ll also receive an app notification and an SMS alert (if enabled in settings).

How to call the watch?

The watch includes a SIM card, allowing you to make calls directly from your smartphone and save your kid’s number in your phone contacts.

Does the watch come with a warranty?

The warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of delivery. It covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

How to view my kid's surroundings?

To view images from the watch, select the “Photo Gallery” option in the parent app’s menu. You’ll find a camera icon at the bottom of the screen — tapping it will request and display the latest photo from the device. Remember to refresh the screen for the most recent image.

What should I do if I can make calls from the watch but it's not showing the location?

Rest assured – your watch is not faulty. While these situations are extremely rare, the watch may occasionally require a factory reset. Should this occur, please contact our customer service directly for personalized assistance.

How to set up a contact list for my kid?

To manage your kid’s contact list, navigate to “Contacts” in the parent app menu. Select “Add New” and enter the name and phone number. These saved numbers will automatically sync to your kid’s watch call list.

What to do when you see the notification: "Check if the watch is powered on and connected to the network"?

When you see this notification,ensure the watch is both powered on and has an active subscription. If you’ve confirmed both conditions but the issue persists, please contact our support team for personalized assistance.

Why does the watch show a different time?

Make sure you’ve selected the correct time zone in the app settings.

When I change watch settings in the app, they only apply to one watch and not the other.

All setting changes apply only to the watch currently selected in the app. To confirm which device you’re modifying, open the app and navigate to the “Profile” section, then access “Devices” to view the active selection. Should you need to apply the same changes to another paired watch, make sure to select it before implementing any configuration changes.

How to add a safety zone?

Launch the app and go to the map. Tap the fence-shaped icon, select your desired area, then choose “Add Geofence” to save your settings.

What is School Mode and how to activate it?

When activated, School Mode limits the watch’s functionality by disabling messaging, games, entertainment features, and incoming calls to minimize distractions. Only emergency SOS functionality and remote listening remain active to ensure safety. This mode can only be enabled through the parent application.

Is the watch water-resistant?

The Kipy Watch is water-resistant for daily use, including outdoor play in the rain and handwashing. Please note: it is not waterproof and should not be worn while swimming, bathing, or during water sports.

Does the watch work abroad?

The watch only operates within the United States.

How to set the watch to only call/receive calls from saved contacts?

To disable the ability to dial numbers from the watch, navigate to “Settings” → “Extra settings” → “Allow calls to contacts only” 

To block unknown callers from reaching the watch, go to “Settings” → “Blocking calls” → “Turn on call blocking”.

What features are included in the subscription and what is the pricing?

To access all watch features, an active subscription to the Kipy Watch mobile app is required. Payments can be made securely on our website: link.

Kipy Platinum – $9.99/month (full mobile app access with 5 parental accounts, 500 call minutes, 500 SMS, 500MB data).

Kipy Gold – $14.99/month (full mobile app access with 10 parental accounts, unlimited calls, SMS, and data).

You may cancel the subscription at any time; only you decide how long to use it. There are no additional fees upon cancellation.

The special factory-included SIM cards in the watch do not generate user fees. They cannot be recharged or used with carrier subscriptions. We emphasize that the app subscription enables the watch’s features – not the SIM card itself.

When and how can I cancel my subscription?

You may cancel your subscription at any time, as it operates on a monthly basis. To proceed, simply send an email to adress or use the contact form on our website.
